David Backham Arriving Maldives For New Year 2014

18 Dec 2014: Media sources report that David Backham family is planning to visit Maldives for this New Year. David Backham, wife Victoria and 4 children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruise and Harper - will have a family holiday in a 5 star deluxe resort. Their last New Year holiday was at One&Only Reethi Rah Maldives at a price tag of 250,000 GBP for 11 nights.



At that time several media channels reported that the family cut-short their holiday due to bad weather. Then again the Tourism Minister of Maldives confirmed the reports were not true, he himself was present at the airport to see off Backham’s family. The Minister said the superstar couple and family had enjoyed the stay in the Maldives and they said they would come back. Now they are coming back again and Maldivesfinest assumes a senior government official will welcome them at the airport.

Which resort they have chosen to stay is unknown as yet. Maldives is a popular hotspot among celebrities and most of the time they just escape into one of the resorts and media have no clue at all. Earlier this year, Diego Maradona was spotted at the airport with a mysterious girl. Backham family is not so elusive. We will know his whereabouts during or after the stay.

For the last holiday they chose One&Only Reethi Rah Maldives. It certainly is one of the top resorts in the Maldives. But, this holiday seems more like staying at a different resort. Backham and family is more likely to stay at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, Fourseasons Landaa Giraavaru, Dusit Thani Maldives, Huvafenfushi . There are other resorts of the same class. Taking clues from the previous holidays, it seems he would not go too far from the airport, not with 4 children.
