Planning To Book Centara Ras Fushi? Read This.

Set on Giraavaru Island the Centara Fas Fushi Resort & Spa is a mere 15 minute speedboat ride from Male' International Airport. The 4 star premium resort is one of the smallest in the atoll, it takes only 5 minute walk around the island. Despite small land area a relatively large lagoon stretches out from both tips of the island. Resort's water villas are located in those lagoons and much of it comes with coral where the small fish makes their habitat. Larger fish lives in and around the coral in house reef drop off and deep waters but you could often see them in snorkeling.



The lagoon area between two sections of water villa serves for water sports and just swimming the shallows. There are numerous dive sites such as Giraabaru Cave, Kiki Reef, Kuda Huraa, Shark Point, Lion's Head etc. These sites in close proximity, it takes about 10 - 20 minutes by Maldivian dhoni.



For 5 star resorts you have to pay 5 star price. Four star premium gives great value for money and stands just a step back, not too far from posh and luxury resorts.



In four star resorts seem to be more active in terms of daily happenings, activities are more affordable. Five star islands are usually smaller and many activities are targeted for small groups or organised private.



Centara Ras Fushi Maldives is home to 140 villas of which 30 are in land and 110 built over the water. There are 6 room categories.

In terms of food and beverage Ras Fushi is not a small resort. There are 4 restaurants on the island. Located in the center of the island, Oceans is the main restaurant and serves international and Asian themed buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the island garden the Al Khaimah offers Arabic and Middle-Eastern style prime cuts of meat, it serves only dinner.



La Brezza is located near pool and offers Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner. Thai restaurant Suan Bua is near pool and opens for both lunch and dinner. In an unlikely case that you find all restaurants closed and don't want to wait there is 24 hour in-villa dining service that you can order from room or any of the outlet.



There are three bars offering an array fantastic cocktails and mocktails to keep you chilled day and night. On arrival at reception you see Giraaaru Lobby Bar which opens from 10:00 till 23:00hrs. If you are staying in a water villa and do not want to take many step to reach a refreshing drink there is Viu Bar which is over water, next to water villas.



Viu Bar opens daily from 10:00 till 24:00, it is the ideal place for evening chill out too. But the best location to indulge in day time is by the pool facing beautiful lagoon, Waves Pool Bar is located right there, you need not move to order a drink. Pool Bar is open from 10:00 till 18:00.
