Moon Walker Buzz Aldrin Visits Maldives

Buzz Aldrin, second person to walk on the moon, have enjoyed a holiday in Maldives and left on 18th December 2013. Buzz was the lunar module pilot and Neil Armstrong was the mission commander of Apollo 11 which landed moon on 21st July 1969. On his return from holiday, Buzz was spotted at Male' International Airport. People took pictures with him, one of them said that Buzz, 81, said he will be back to the Maldives.

Aldrin came late for departure. I was only able to take a picture with him. He looked happy and said he will come back. The Maldivian who took a picture with him said.

Buzz Aldrin was in the group of three who succeeded the first ever moon mission. On the moon Neil Armstrong set foot first, second was Buzz Aldrin while Michael Collins was orbiting the moon in command module.

Which resort Buzz Aldrin and his wife stayed is publicly not known. Some people from airport said they were in a group who came from Baa Atoll. In that case mostly likely he stayed in one of the three. Dusit Thani Maldives, Sixsenses Sonevafushi or Fourseasons Landaa Giraavaru.
