Robinson Club Noonu Announced To Open In 2016
Robinson Club has announced on Twitter about their second property in Maldives – the Robinson Club Noonu at Orivaru island. Acquisition cost of the new island was not announced, but former lease holder was advertising to sell at USD14.4 as per media reports. The new island in Robinson family will open in 2016 with 60 Water Villas, 50 Beach Villas and 40 Semi-detached Beach Villas.
Noonu will be under ROBINSON FeelGood® clubs along other two. FeelGood® is known as adult oriented romantic setting for couples especially honeymooners. It is very much likely to be a child-free resort.
Robinson currently operates 23 properties across the globe and Robinson Club Maldives at Funamadua is the only resort in operation in the Maldives. The five star Funamadua was opened in 2009 and renovated in 2013. Additional 20 Water Villas are under construction at the resort and is expected to open in this November.
Noonu atoll is home to some of the most luxurious resorts in the Maldives. First resort opened in Noonu was Zitahli Kudafunafaru followed by Sun Siyam Irufushi. Other resorts in operation in Noonu atoll include Chevalblanc Randheli and Velaa Private Island.
Dhigurah in Noonu atoll is also under development by Sun Siyam Hotels and is planned to make history as biggest resort in Maldives with 600 rooms of 14 different categories. Ahmed Siyam, the chairman and managing director of the company, said the resort will have 13 restaurants including one underwater.
