Nationalities Banned From Entry To Maldives Due To Coronavirus Covid-19

The national Health Protection Agency of the Maldives have confirmed 13 positive cases of coronavirus known as Covid-19. Under a heath emergency state the HPA has banned some nationalities from entering to the Maldives on tourist visa. Other visa types may also be banned. At present there are 8 countries from where people are denied entry to Maldives. Some of these nationalities can still enter Maldives, depending on the city you live. Please find details below.
China
Banned from 4 February 2020 till further notice.
Iran
Banned from 26 February 2020 till further notice.
South Korea
Banned from 3 March 2020 (People arriving from
Gyeongsang province and north).
Italy
Banned from 8 March 2020 till further notice.
Bangladesh
Banned from 10 March 2020 till 24 March 2020.
Germany
Banned from 14 March 2020 till further notice. The ban is applicable only to
North Rhine-Westphalia,
Bavaria,
Baden-Württemberg.
Spain
Banned from 14 March 2020 till further notice.
France
Banned from 14 March 2020 till further notice, applicable to regions
Île-de-France and
Grand Est.
Malaysia
Banned from 17 March 2020 till further notice.
UK - United Kingdom
Will be banned from 19 March 2020 till further notice.
