Island for everyday snorkelling and easy access to beach

Hi,Thank you for this great site! We are two families travelling with a 12 year old, looking for a resort where we can go snorkeling /swimming everyday, just relax and watch sunrise/set, a not crowded offbeat resort which is clean and yet not too expensive. Can you please suggest us few on these line. We are planning to stay for a week. And safe for swimming if we need to venture alone.

@1026 recently we wrote an article about "best resorts for snorkeling" you can find this from search. All the islands on that list are easily accessible to house reef.
If you want a resort that is not expensive, Vilamendhoo would be good. This island is also good families.

Depends also on whether you are looking for a local island where there are guesthouses which are definitely way cheaper than resort islands. Upcoming local island is Huraa. Look it up.
