Beloved Chihuahua Service Dog

I have just learned that dogs are not permitted in the Maldives except on yachts. Are there really no exceptions for Service dogs?

We were thinking about a long stay, possibly a retirement place, but cant do it without our dear family member.

Any information would be welcome.

@1065 Dogs are not allowed in the Maldives, not even in yachts. Once there was a case in which a tourism brought a dog on a yacht. It is illegal and tourist departed before the authorities came to know of that case. Only dogs in Maldives are Police Dogs.
